Piseoga -- There was a dairy-man and his wife living together in a house, and when they used to get up in the morning to milk the cows, they used to have no milk. -- A couple of years ago there was a man in the parish of Duagh, and every time one of his cows calved, she died. / Colbert, Patrick -- A certain man went out to gather in the cows on May morning. / Carthy, Pádraig Óg Mc -- A certain priest spoke off the Altar about a woman named Joan Grogan, and that she was n league with the Devil. -- Mrs McCarthy of Knocknasna, was making butter one day in a churn. / Barrett, Desmond -- About six years ago in the parish of Monegay, a man went to a farmer's house on May Eve for a rope to tie straw. -- On May Eve a certain woman went to her neighbour's field, where her neighbour's cows were grazing. -- Up to forty years ago it was a custom of tailors to go from house to house making clothes for people. -- Long ago it was an old custom for tailors to go around to the houses of those who wanted to make suits. / Hickey, James -- About five years ago in Kerry there was a woman milking a cow, and a man came into the cabin, and he touched the milk with his hand. -- The following is supposed to have happened at the Mill-Stream house not far from Abbeyfeale. / Harnett, John -- Once upon a time a little boy was herding cows for his master, and every day he had to take the cows to a mountain farm. -- About sixty years ago in the parish of Tournafulla there were two neighbours joined in butter. -- This story which I am going to write has passed down from certain old people who lived in Co. Limerick. -- There was a woman in Co.
