Popis: A PortAbs based pathogen nucleic acid detection system using peptide nucleic acid (PNA) and a cyanine dye, DiSc2(5). The shift is measured of the absorbance induced by binding of a PNA probe to a complementary DNA strand using a portable two-color absorption system.
