Popis: Tumor hypoxia is known to reduce the sensitivity of tumors to radiation therapy. Although hypoxia plays a major role in tumor response to therapy, its exact causes are still unknown. In particular, the temporal characteristics of acute hypoxia have not been extensively explored. Previous publications have shown that P0 in tumors changes over time, and that these changes may play an important and potentially radiobiologically significant role in tumor hypoxia. This study examines the kinetics of PO fluctuations in FSA and 9L, and seeks to discover if there are differences in the power and frequency of these fluctuations between different tumor lines.
