| Popis: | Laptop computers have been integrated into most phases of the University of Toledo's geology field camp without changing the time-proven mapping curriculum. They are particularly useful for producing three-dimensional surface maps of field areas, for using specialized techniques in analyzing stratigraphic sections, for carrying out stereonet analysis of geological structures, and for contouring, graphing and report writing. Now, for the first time at our camp, students can gather data from the field, analyze it properly in the dorm, and produce a professional-quality geological report. |
