This study aims to investigate the effect of pulse electromagnetic field of Venus Freeze™ treating with human brain and pain score. The experiment was done with a participant who was in good health, no congenital illness, no record of brain surgery, not taking medicines or drugs that affect to nervous system. Left handedness; history of medical and neurologic diseases; psychiatric disorders; head trauma; assumption of central nervous system active drugs in the two weeks prior to study entry; and presence of electroencephalographic abnormalities at the baseline recording were set as the exclusion criteria of the study. In this study, participants was exposed to pulse electromagnetic field of Venus Freeze™ technology; recording pain score and electroencephalographic activities both before and after treatment, that differed in presentation of pain and electroencephalographic activities. Results suggest that electroencephalographic activities and pain score was lowered then after used Venus Freeze™ treatment. The results also suggest that pulse electromagnetic field effects to either electroencephalographic activities or pain score. The present study stays in the line with previous studies on electroencephalographic activities after treating with the pulsed ELF MF exposure. The results could be consistent with those studies of pulse electromagnetic field effects upon the brain. |
