Popis: | The time-resolved infrared radiometry (TRIR) technique involves monitoring the surface temperature of a specimen during the application of a step-function heating pulse. In the present work we address the competition between normal and transverse heat flow through structured media in determining the TRIR temperature-time1/2 profile. Understanding this competition is critical if TRIR data are to be interpreted correctly to provide quantitative information about specimen properties. |
