Popis: | Phytochemical study of the ethanol extract of Astragalus membranaceus (Fisch) Bge. var. mongholicus (Bge) Hsiao resulted to the isolation of two new compounds, 1-hydroxy-5-methylolbenzol-2- O -β- d -glucoside ( 1 ) and (3R, 4R)-4,7-hydroxy-2′,3′-dimethoxyisoflavane-4′- O -β- d -glucoside ( 2 ). The structure of the isolated compounds were elucidated on the basis of the spectroscopic methods including UV, IR, ESI–MS, 1D NMR and 2D NMR techniques, and by comparison with those reported in the literature. The new compounds were investigated for its effect against inflammation induced by egg-albumin and carrageenan in rats. |
