Popis:	The effect of partial deactivation of 10% Pt on silica gel with ethyl amine and 2-aminoethanol on the selectivity of competitive hydrogenation of 2-methyl-3-butene-2-ol and 1-hexene in methanol and in cyclohexane and the effect of partial deactivation of platinum black with thallium, lead and bismuth on the selectivity of the same reaction in toluene have been investigated. The causes leading to changes in selectivity in the systems under investigation have been studied.
