Popis: | We report the case of a pregnancy associated with severe restricting anorexia nervosa in a 33-year-old patient who weighed 41kg for 1.61m at conception. She continued to lose weight during pregnancy and she gave birth to an eutrophic child by cesarean section at 34 weeks of amenorrhea. Because of complications induced by the chronic food restriction, anorectic pregnant women should be viewed as being at high risk and also monitored closely both during and after pregnancy to optimize maternal and fetal outcomes. |
