Popis: | Acutogordius sp. (Fig. 6) Two further specimens belong to Acutogordius, but their preservation is not good enough to allow a specific identification. Acutogordius sp. (specimen 1). Locality: Palawan, Salakot Falls, from the abdomen of a large green bush cricket; collected by P. Zwick on March 23/24, 1996. Deposited in the Zoological Museum Hamburg, accession number V13372. One male, length 360 mm, diameter 1.2 mm. Medium brown with dark collar. The cuticle is smooth. The posterior end is strongly compressed laterally and therefore many details cannot be observed reliably. In the compressed state the postcloacal crescent appears strongly angled (Fig. 6 A). Small spines are present, but their exact distribution cannot be documented. Acutogordius sp. (specimen 2). Locality: Northwest Panay Peninsula, trail to Sibaliw Research Station, Barangay Bulanao, Libertad, Antique, Panay Island, Philippines; dry riverbed; collected by A. Fernandez on February 5, 2012. Deposited in the Zoological Museum Hamburg, accession number V13373. One male, length 200 mm, diameter 1.0 mm. Medium brown with dark collar. The cuticle has no areoles, but is covered with irregularly shaped structures of unknown nature (Fig. 6 C). Such a pattern is unknown from other nematomorphs. The posterior end is strongly covered with dirt and reliable features could not be observed (Fig. 6 B).
