Popis: This paper presents the data obtained during our study of the plasma-catalytic conversion of ethanol into synthesis gas. The conversion was initiated by activating part of the injected oxidant (air) in the rotating gliding discharge and mixing it with the combined flow of ethanol and non-activated air. We present the composition of the plasma of rotating gliding discharge and the temperature of its components. We show the composition of the gaseous reforming products and its dependence on the ratio between water and ethanol introduced into the system. We used obtained data to calculate the reforming efficiency and the ratio between the chemical energy of the reforming products and the electrical energy spent on the plasma generation. The study determined that the reforming efficiency of the plasma-catalytic conversion of ethanol had a maximum at H 2 O/C 2 H 5 OH = 0.75.
