Popis:	Results are presented for field investigations of the stress state of the shaft of a cast-in-place pile and the surrounding soil mass in stages of the pile's installation, and its static loading in loess soils with the natural moisture content. Data indicating that the soil mass functions preferentially in an elastic state both during pile fabrication, and its vertical loading are obtained.
