Popis:	The limiting resistance of a sandy bed was determined on the basis of plate tests in a trough. It was found that its value is appreciably lower than that computed from formula (16) of Construction Rule and Regulation 2.02.01-83*, in which ϕ and c values obtained from static shear tests are used.
