Popis: | Rhabdomancy is the use of a forked stick to divine water, gold, oil or buried treasure. Specific applications have included locating well sites, tracing underground streams, determining amounts and depths of water and even analyzing water. Ancient rhabdomancers also used forked sticks to affix blame, predict the future and cure disease (Ellis, 1917). While the tools have changed considerably, the intent of modern rhabdomancers or risk assessors remains the same. |
