Popis: | We present the case of a 24-year-old man with multicentric hepatocellular carcinoma over HBV cirrhosis treated with Sorafenib and Tenofovir. He comes to our center for repeated episodes of symptomatic hypoglycemia that cannot be managed with standard measures. After ruling out different possibilities, the suspicion of hypoglycemia due to a non-islet cell tumor was finally confirmed. Given the impossibility of a curative treatment due to a reduced functional reserve, Sorafenib was changed to Lenvatinib, thereby improving glycemic control. |
