Popis: | Current surgical treatment of gliomas is based on the function-preserving maximal safe resection approach. Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI) is a widely employed technology for this purpose. This should be accompanied by a preoperative neuropsychological evaluation. However, only a few studies reported both the neuropsychological tests and the fMRI tasks for preoperative planning. Our aim is to systematically review the scientific literature on the topic, following the PRISMA guidelines. We are going to include studies that reported both neuropsychological tests and fMRI tasks. Exclusion criteria: no brain tumors, underage patients, no pre-operative assessment, resting-state fMRI only |
