Popis: | Kodak began a research program in 1989 which led to the development and introduction of the Cineon Digital Film System in 1992. The system consists of a high-resolution CCD film scanner for digitizing 35 mm film images, a computer based digital film workstation for interactive image processing, and a gas laser film recorder for recording the digital images back to film. Kodak conducted significant research in developing the technical specifications for this “transparent” digital film system. The studies focused on determining the system's resolution, quantization bit depth, noise performance, color space, calibration, and image file format. Meeting the specifications coming out of these studies required the development of the Cineon Lightning Digital Film Scanner and Cineon Lightning Digital Film Recorder. |
