Popis:	Features of the Wittig olefination reaction of menthone lactol and its aluminate by several n-alkylidenetriphenylphosphoranes were studied. The product of the reaction with ethylidenetriphenylphosphorane was used in the synthesis of the sex pheromone of peach leaf miner Lyonetia clerckella.
