The integration of active safety and passive safety has become a critical technical problem. A full frontal simulation model with human model was built up to analyse occupant kinematics and injuries. Human model moved forward and neck & thorax injuries were increased duo to pre-impact braking. Seat belt pretensioner TTF, DAB holes size and tethers length were chosen as optimal parameters of occupant restraint system (ORS) to improve human model injuries by the method of Multiple Factor Variance Analysis (MFVA). Seat belt pretensioner TTF was the most significant factor (P > 0.8) on human model injuries while DAB tethers length has little influence (P < 0.25). |
