Popis:	Meige syndrome refers to a segmental dystonia, most frequently idiopathic, characterized by blepharospasm combined with varying degrees of dystonia in craniocervical structures. This syndrome can also be encountered in the context of several neurodegenerative disorders, focal brain lesions, or may be induced by drugs. Botulinum toxin is the mainstay of therapy, but new strategies are being explored.
