The principle of operation of the modernized Weinberg's converter with an additional “zero” diode and transistor is considered in this article. The use of the Weinberg converter for raising the topology for the realization of the charge-discharge device in the power supply system of the spacecraft is substantiated. The description of the converter operation in the discharge and charge modes is given. The results of simulation modeling of the charge-discharge device (CDD) are presented. It is established that the use of a transistor in the synchronous key mode, instead of a diode that is sequentially connected with the choke, allows to increase the efficiency of the classical Weinberg's converter. |
