This article quali-quantitatively addresses the predominant approaches in the historiography on armed conflicts for the 20th century. It establishes a corpus of Anglo-Saxon authors and works (only books) that deal with perspectives about armed conflicts, going from formal wars to diffuse armed conflicts at the end of the century. It establishes a timeline to measure production and an analysis of the underlying themes, periods and approaches in the authors considered. It considers as selection criteria first, that they are written works between 1990 to 2018 and second, that the works have been translated as evidence of their impact on historiographic production in Spanish. |
