| Popis: | We compare a phenomenology of {pi}{sup 0} production in {ital p}-{ital p} scattering with recent Indiana University Cyclotron Facility data for energies near threshold. The computed magnitude of the cross section is too small by a factor of about 5, even though the energy dependence is satisfactorily described. |
