Nanotechnology has rapidly expanded and influences almost every facet of life; it offers significant alternative ways to overcome scientific and medical challenges and problems from individual atoms or molecules. In dentistry, nanotechnology has been very useful in the development of materials with some significant success. The recent advances in nanotechnology could hold promise in bringing a significant shift in dental field. The present chapter discusses the use of nanotechnology in dentistry and the latest innovations in nanobiomaterial products. |
