Effect of Crystal Lattice Microstrain on the Parameters of Grain-Boundary Ensembles in Alloys with L12 Superstructure

Popis: | Crystal lattice microstrain in ordering alloys with L12 superstructure (Pd3Fe and Ni3Mn) is studied via X-ray diffraction analysis. Spectra of special boundaries in grain-boundary ensembles and angles of deviation of special boundaries from the parameters of special boundaries in the model of a coincident site lattice are studied via scanning electron microscopy and backscattered electron diffraction. The microstrain of a crystal lattice rises as the degree of long-range atomic order in the alloys falls. This increases the fraction of special grain boundaries in the grain-boundary ensemble and the angles of deviation of these boundaries from the parameters of special boundaries in the model of a coincident site lattice. |
