Popis: | The superconducting properties of multiphase compounds Bi2−xSbxSr2Ca2Cu3Oy, with x = 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, i.e. 10%, 15%, 20% Sb, investigated using XRD analysis and susceptibility measurements are reported in this paper. The observed properties are correlated to (1) the thermal treatment parameters and (2) the level of Sb incorporation, and comparison with the properties of mixed Pb-doped similar systems clearly shows that these two factors control the oxygen content in the resulting material and thus play a key role in controlling their superconducting properties. These results are important to realise a Pb-free Sb-incorporated Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O system (BSSCCO) with high T0c. |
