Popis:	Free-oil extracted in each stage of an industrial linear alkylbenzene (LAB) sulphonation plant was analyzed by HPLC. The identification of its components, mainly unsulphonated LAB, sulphones and anhydrides was achieved by IR and LC-MS. These analyses allow to complete a mass balance in each sulphonation step.
