Popis:	The fault tree method is used for risk assessment in the casting-rolling complex at OMK-Steel. Determinations are made of the probability of shutdown of the entire complex and of the individual subdivisions which comprise it. The Fussell–Vesely criterion is used to determine the most important conditions that must be met for shutdown of the complex to occur, and these findings are then used to develop recommendations on ways to reduce the probability of occurrence of that top event in the tree.
