Popis: An investigation on fiber loop ring resonator has been accomplished for analysing the performance of the chemical sensor application. A comparative study of direct coupled and cross coupled design of fiber loop has been performed. The phase fluctuation on circulating intensity component is critically analysed for distinctive configuration. It is predicted that a resonance peak obtained for a fiber loop length of 13.85 m will shift 10.85 mm/RIU. The fiber loop ring resonator system is practically implemented and resonance is obtained.
