Popis: | Children and youth with emotional and behavioral disabilities constitute a population with diverse needs that require unique and complex services that may involve multiple human service agencies. The lack of integrated service delivery patterns has meant that the needs of these children have not been adequately met in many states and communities. This paper describes a comprehensive, ongoing effort to redesign services to these children in Kentucky. The process and outcomes are discussed, including emerging issues that impede the delivery of effective services to children and their families. It is anticipated that the Kentucky experience may prove beneficial to planners in other states and local areas. |
