Temperature Effects on Resistance to Greenbug (Homoptera: Aphididae) Biotype I in Sorghum

Popis:	Resistance to the greenbug, Schizaphis graminum (Rondani), biotype I in seedling sorghum, Sorghum bicolor (L.), was significantly reduced at low temperatures in one commercial hybrid. However, this hybrid retained resistance at alternating high and low temperatures. Resistance to the greenbug biotype I was observed in three other genotypes tested at both high and low temperatures. Compounds involved in resistance expression may be affected by temperature.
