Magnetic studies of Nd1Ba2Cu3O7−δ, Pr1Ba2Cu3O7−δ and La1Ba2Cu3O7−δ

Popis: | We report magnetic susceptibility, ( χ spin (T)), studies for the superconducting complexes La 1 Ba 2 Cu 3 O 7−δ , Nd 1 Ba 2 Cu 3 O 7−δ and the insulating complex Pr 1 Ba 2 Cu 3 O 7−δ . We also report the first magnetic (neutron) scattering results for the Pr 1 Ba 2 Cu 3 O 7−δ , and La 1 Ba 2 Cu 3 O 7−δ complexes. The magnetic susceptibility and scattering measurements on the Pr 1 Ba 2 Cu 3 O 7−δ and orthorhombic La 1 Ba 2 Cu 3 O 7−δ samples show no sign of magnetic ordering. The susceptibility measurements for La 1 Ba 2 Cu 3 O 7−δ samples show a systematic decrease in the Curie-constant and the effective moment μ eff as T c of the samples is increased. |
