The subject of the graduate qualification work is âProject of snow melting facilities using low potential heat sources of the Severnaya CHPP-21â. The given work is devoted to the development of a project for snow melting facilities using secondary sources of low potential heat, as well as an analysis of its effectiveness. tasks that were solved in the course of work: 1. Study of existing methods of snow disposal in large cities, as well as mass-produced snow melting plants; 2. Analysis of the thermal potential of secondary heat sources at Severnaya CHPP-21; 3. Development of heat exchange and pumping equipment for a snow melting plant; 4. Calculation of pipelines and thermal insulation; 5. Selection of equipment for the treatment of melt water; 6. Analysis of the economic efficiency of the project. As a result, a project of snow melting facilities was developed, hydraulic calculation of pipelines and calculation of thermal insulation was made. The project recommended to use in Severnaya CHPP-21 because it has positive affects the infrastructure of the city, short payback period and may increase profit of plant. In the future, it is advisable to evaluate the possibility of introducing snow melting facilities at other stations. |
