Popis: | NDI is rarely considered versus diabetes mellitus in the situation of polyuria. It is well known that hypokalaemia and hypercalcemia induce NDI through decreased activity of arginine vasopressin and downregulation of Aquaporin-2 water channels in the collecting ducts. However, not much is known whether hypomagnesemia can directly induce NDI. |
