Popis: | To estimate the losses on road traffic accidents in Kyiv in 2019 (human losses; medical expenses; administrative expenses; production costs; material costs), a methodology widely used in the European Union was adopted. Annual losses on accidents in Kyiv in 2019 were received, according to which the biggest damage to the city is caused by collisions with pedestrians, in second place - car collisions, in third place - accidents with a motorcycle, in fourth place - accidents with a bicycle. To obtain the unit losses per vehicle or one pedestrian, the total number of vehicles and pedestrians that may participate in the urban delivery was determined. As a result, the losses from road accidents were the smallest for a pedestrian who can act as a pedestrian courier, and the largest - for a motorcycle. Such specific losses on accidents in the city should be taken into account when choosing the means of logistics of the last mile. |
