Popis: | Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) transmission has been widely used in wireless communication due to higher spectral efficiency, robustness against multipath fading etc. The main disadvantage of OFDM system is its sensitivity to frequency and time synchronization errors. Carrier Frequency Offset (CFO) estimation for SISO OFDM systems using Complementary Sequence (CS) is proposed. Besides the complementary property, such sequences exhibit some additional properties which make them attractive as synchronization codes: they have low aperiodic auto-correlation side lobes, and there is a large number of them for a given code length. The proposed CS-based method can operate fractional CFO estimation on the basis of Auto correlation function of the training sequence. The major property of the binary sequences from the Complementary pair is that the sum of their aperiodic auto-correlation functions equals zero for all non-zero time shifts. Simulation results show the merits of complementary training sequence over other training sequences. |
