Popis: | A theoretical analysis of the temperature distribution in a rectangular plate when it is subjected to rectangular pulses of heat radiation is presented. An expression for the pyroelectric current caused by this action on a ferroelectric specimen has been obtained. A computer calculation of the thickness and time dependences of the temperature and of its time derivative as well as of pyroelectric responses for various values of the irradiation period duration showed the feasibility of thickness probing of the specimens.Certain data on the surface layer study in unipolar BaTiO3 crystals are presented. |
