Popis: New nitrobenzene and nitropyridine derivatives have been designed and studied in powder form. Second harmonic generation (SHG) efficiencies range between 25 and 160 times that of urea. They are all transparent for wavelengths greater than 0.5 μm and one of them, MBA-NP has been proved to be non critically phase matchable at 0.9 μm.
