Popis: | Electrochromic devices are multilayer structures comprised of 1) an electrochromic (EC) layer such as tungsten oxide, WO3, 2) an ion storage (IS) layer or counter electrode (CE) such as nickel oxide, NiO, or iridium oxide, IrOx, 3) an ion conducting (IC) layer such as tantalum pentoxide, Ta2O5, 4) and two transparent electron conducting layers separating the EC, IS and IC layers. A transmissive all-inorganic EC device which will be the subject of this paper is shown Figure 1. |
