| Popis: | The article highlights the historical period of activity of the Department of General Chemistry from 1951 to 1953, and the importance of the influence of the personality of Andrei Vladimirovich Dombrovsky on the development of the new scientific direction of the department in the field of organic chemistry-the purposeful organic synthesis of biologically active substances-is revealed. In the course of an insignificant period of time, the head of the department was able to create favorable conditions for development at the department of general chemistry, not only of a new direction, but also of a whole school for the synthesis of ammonium salts and to inspire faith in the chemists themselves, which later achieved significant scientific results in the field of organic chemistry. |
