Popis: The article analyzes new trends in Chinese studies of Russia. The study is based on the analysis of domestic and Chinese historiography. As a result of the work done, the author came to the conclusion that in the 2000s there were quantitative and qualitative changes in Russian studies, a clear unified position of the scientific circles and the leadership of the country regarding the events of the recent history of Russia. Chinese scientists critically assess the current state of the industry and suggest ways of integrating into international Russian studies, applying the methods and results of the investigations of both Western and Russian colleagues. It is necessary to develop our own scientific paradigm, and also to use all the material in different languages, switching between Chinese, Russian and English. This will activate the international dialogue and improve understanding of Russia.
