Popis: 1. The investigated titanium alloy, having high cyclic strength properties under steady loading, displays considerable scatter of fatigue testing results. 2. The distribution of the life logarithms can be approximated by a normal law only at high levels of stress, while the distribution of limited fatigue limits is well described by this law for a wide range of lives. 3. Prior loading below the fatigue limit increases somewhat the secondary fatigue limit, but the susceptibility of this titanium alloy to coaxing is not significant.
