Popis: The objective of the article is to show if the Coaching Academy has influenced the character of the students of Civil Engineering in Computing and Civil Industrial Engineering of the School of Engineering at the Universidad Catolica del Norte, Coquimbo. This study is based on the Goldstein Social Skills Test, which was answered by the members of the academy at the beginning of its operation and at the end of the 2016. Although the results showed small changes, these allowed to conclude that the Coaching Academy did influence the character of the students who participated in it, especially in the first social skills (listening, initiating a conversation, holding a conversation, asking a question, thanking, introducing themselves, introducing other people and doing a compliment) and skills related to feelings (knowing your own feelings, expressing feelings, understanding the feelings of others, getting angry with someone else's anger, expressing affection, resolving fear, self-reward).
