Popis: | A description is given of a mechanically driven machine for tensile tests. The machine, whose shackle can move at rates ranging from 10−4 to 1.0 m/sec and which can produce loads of up to 8 kilonewtons, is designed for determining mechanical properties of materials in a wide strain rate range. |
