Popis: | The RADARSAT-2 program builds on the heritage of the RADARSAT-1 program and represents a logical progression in commercial spaceborne remote sensing programs. RADARSAT-2 was designed with the end-user as the primary customer, and as such, many of the features reflect end-user requirements. In conjunction with meeting end-user needs, RADARSAT-2 will be the world's most advanced civilian spaceborne synthetic aperture radar (SAR), incorporating advanced capabilities and acquisition modes. The RADARSAT-2 commercialization plan integrates and builds upon key elements developed within the highly successful RADARSAT-1 program. The commercialization plan roadmap outlines the transition to information from data while maintaining the importance of data for certain customers. The market development strategy provides both pre-launch and post-launch activities to stimulate the demand for RADARSAT-2 products through sustainable applications, providing interoperable, interpretable, and timely information products and se... |
