Popis: | Reflex seizures or reflex epilepsy is not an uncommon form of epilepsy, existing in 5–6% of patients with epilepsy. This entity has also been known as sensory precipitation epilepsy or stimulus sensitive epilepsy. In this report, we discuss the study of a young girl who presented with a unique form of reflex epilepsy, olfactory-induced tonic seizures. Tonic seizures were consistently induced in her with a variety of odors. These seizures were elicited and recorded during an EEG study. |
