| Popis: | In 1964, the Geomorphological Laboratory of the Free University of Berlin, under the direction of Professor J. Hovermann, began to build up a research station at the Bardai oasis in the north of the Republic of Chad. In this paper, Dr. Jakel reports on the programmes of the various groups of scientists who worked at the Bardai oasis and gives a summary of their results. The station was closed in 1974. |
