Popis: | The numerical simulation of wave propagation in bounded space using differential-based models generally encounter spatial discretisation problems when the boundaries of the computation space do not fall on exact multiples of the models discretisation. While the accuracy can be improved by refinement of the model, the computational load can increase exponentially, often making the problem unsolvable. There have been some previous attempts to achieve boundary conforming meshes for the TLM numerical method. This paper describes a novel approach which compares well with these methods with a significantly reduced computational load. |
