Popis: Photodynamic therapy is widely used for the treatment of actinic keratosis and superficial non-melanoma skin cancers. Less commonly, it can also be used to treat non-cutaneous neoplasms, infections, and inflammatory conditions. Over the past decade, photodynamic therapy has also been found to provide significant benefit in the treatment of photoaging. By combining photodynamic therapy with different light sources, the treatment can be adjusted to the each patient’s specific photorejuvenation needs.
