Popis: | Bronchial atresia is a rare congenital disorder usually discovered as an incidental radiographic finding in otherwise asymptomatic individuals. It is more of a radiographic rather than a clinical diagnosis. It is characterized by localized area of air-trapping and oligemia which sometimes could be mistaken for pulmonary embolism. We present a case of a female adult patient with bronchial atresia who was thought to have pulmonary thromboembolic disease. |
